Google Review Step — Ask for a Google Review on Tap
Use the Google Review step to prompt customers for a Google review when they tap a Kitetag, with a button that opens your review link directly.
**TL;DR:** The Google Review step shows a screen that asks the Tapper to leave a Google review and a button that opens your Google review link.
What does it do?
It displays a short prompt and a button. When the Tapper taps the button, their browser opens your business’s Google review link so they can leave a rating without searching for your listing.
When should you use it?
- Restaurants and shops — a tap card at the table or counter that asks for a review
- Service businesses — a leave-behind tag that drives reviews after a job
- Events — a feedback tag at the exit
How do you set it up?
- Get your Google review link from your Google Business Profile.
- In the Interaction Builder, click Add Step → Google Review (Actions category).
- Set the Review URL, plus the Title, Message, and Button Text shown on the prompt.
- Put it near the end of the flow (for example, after a thank-you Message step).
- Publish and assign the interaction to a Kitetag Group.
Next steps
- Open or close the flow with a branded Message step.
- See all step types in the Interaction Builder guide.
